Lyka is a 10-year-old girl living with her family in one of humanity’s secluded cities. Despite her bleak circumstances, she is cheerful and very curious about the compromised world outside of the city. She often worries about her father.

Toklo is Lyka’s kind and caring father. He works at the manufacturing plant near the outer rim of the city, and he also has debilitating asthma. Despite his health condition, he works hard to provide for his family and ensure their happiness.

Yuka is Lyka’s strong and preserving mother. She cares about her husband and two children and works hard to maintain the household while her husband is at work. One of her favorite hobbies is making old recipes handed down from her grandfather.

Enzo is Lyka’s rambunctious and energetic five-year-old brother. He doesn’t fully understand why he and his family have to wear masks outside and has yet to learn about the compromised environment in kindergarten. He finds gasmasks are too hot and sweaty.

Baxter is a mysterious mushroom-infested dog. Dogs haven’t been around for a long time. Where did he come from?

Peacekeepers are an organized military group dedicated to keeping the citizens of the city safe and inside at all costs.
